Now formatted text can be added to Get it? questions, assignment instructions and vocabulary. Additionally, we've added the Mathslate plugin to these rich text editors which allows teachers to create and add mathematical expressions to digital lessons using common math markup language.
Slates are an exciting new feature in SAFARI Montage Version 6.3 Lessons that allow teachers to easily create a custom text-based visual resource when building a lesson. Slates can be used to communicate in a variety of ways within a lesson. For example, a slate can be used to ask a question, spark discussion, hook student interest, communicate directions or it can be used as a placeholder to signal a transition during a lesson. In addition to the custom creatable slates, teachers can select from a library of pre-created of slates in various categories such as action items, pictures, questioning and activities.
