With the advent of more and more Ipads in our district, one of the first things we thought about was to direct upload the videos created on the Ipad 2's.  Sometimes it uploads and works fine, other times the video rotates and squishes, I understand it is a know issue and it involves Quicktime.  It would be great if this could be a bit easier, I just see it as a medium that is just taking off and will be used more and more in the future.

ps-it works great with the Montage app on the Ipad, just not all the time on a PC...

It is very exciting to hear different ideas for the use of mobile devices in the classroom but I can appreciate your frustration with the Quicktime issue. I will forward your comment to our Development & Support teams and see if they can provide any additional help or suggestions.

I am also looking forward for this one to get the developers attention, after all like Bonnie said, this would be a great advantage when made it possible.

I am SO happy today!! I just showed the MY LOCKER function in the new Safari Montage app to my campus techs and librarians. So many oohs and ahhs, it is a great addition to our iOS deployment here in Allen ISD. It makes configurated iOS devices easy to use with photos and video! Super job Safari Montage!

If you don't know about this My LOCKER function in Montage, please ask, it is fantastic!

We are very glad that Allen ISD is excited about My Locker for Students! In the near future we will have a similar feature for teachers which will provide customized functionality for teachers to easily upload and manage their own resources as well as easily associate them with digital Lessons and Courses being created and managed in Digital Curriculum Presenter.
